Fact: About Solar Eclipse
Posted By Vipin Rohila |
As seen from the earth, a solar eclipse occurs when the moon
passes between the sun and the earth, and the moon fully or partially covers
the sun as viewed from a location on earth. This can only happen during a new
moon, when the sun and moon are in conjunction as seen from earth. At least
two, and up to five, solar eclipses occur each year; no more than two can be
total eclipses. Total solar eclipses are nevertheless rare at any particular
location because totality exists only along a narrow path on the earth’s
surface traced by the moon’s umbra.
Fact: Moon is Earth’s only natural satellite
Posted By Vipin Rohila |
The Moon is Earth’s only natural satellite and the fifth
largest satellite in the Solar System. It is the largest natural satellite of a
planet in the solar system relative to the size of its primary (though char
on), which orbits the dwarf the diameter of earth and 1/81 its mass. The moon
is the second densest satellite after lo. It is in synchronous rotation with
earth, always showing the same face; the near side is marched with dark
volcanic Maria among the bright ancient crustal highlands and prominent impact
craters. It is the brightest object in the sky after the sun, although its
surface is actually very dark, with a similar reflectance to coal.
Fact: “Charles Babbage father of the computer
Posted By Vipin Rohila |
Charles Babbage FRS (26 December 1791- 18 October 1871) was
an English mathematician philosopher, inventor and mechanical engineer who
originated the concept of a programmable computer. Considered a “father of the
computer”, Babbage is credited with inventing the first mechanical computer
that eventually led to more complex designs. Parts of his uncompleted
mechanisms are on display in the London science museum. In 1991, a perfectly
functioning difference was constructed from Babbage’s original plans. Built to
tolerances achievable in the 19th century, the success of the
finished engine indicated the Babbage machine would have worked. Nice years
later the science museum completed the printer Babbage had designed for the
difference engine as astonishingly complex device for the 19th
century.
Fact : The Word Cartoon
Posted By Vipin Rohila |
The word cartoon has various meanings based on several very
different forms of visual art and illustration. The artists who draw cartoons
are known as cartoonist. The original meaning was in fine art of the late
middle ages and renaissance, where it referred to a preparatory for a piece of
art such as painting or tapestry. In the 19th century, it came to
refer to humorous illustrations in magazines and newspapers, and in the early
20th century was sometimes used to refer to comic strips. It
commonly refers to animated programs for television and other motion-picture
media.
Fact: life on mars
Mars is the fourth planet from the Sun and the seventh largest:
orbit: 227,940,000 km (1.52 AU) from Sun
diameter: 6,794 km
mass: 6.4219e23 kg
Mars (Greek: Ares) is the god of War. The planet probably got this name due to its red color; Mars is sometimes referred to as the Red Planet. The first spacecraft to visit Mars was Mariner 4 in 1965.
Scientists have long speculated about the possibility of
life on mars owing to the planet’s proximity to similarity to earth. Although
fictional martians have been a recurring feature of popular entertainment, it
remains an open question whether life currently exists on mars, or has existed
there in the past. Mar’s popular ice caps were observed as early as the mid-17th
century and the were first proven to grow and shrink alternately ,in the summer
and winter of each hemisphere, by William Herschel.
Fact: "math’s” and “math” redirect here
Mathematics is the study of quantity of, structure, space,
and change. Mathematicians seek out patterns,
And formulate new conjectures. Mathematicians resolve the
truth and falsity of conjectures by mathematical proofs,

which are arguments sufficient to convince other
mathematicians of their validity.
The research requires solving mathematical problems can take
years or even centuries of sustained inquiry.
However, mathematical proofs are less formal and painstaking
than proofs in mathematical logic.
Since the pioneering work Giuseppe peano, David Hilbert, and
others on axiomatic systems in the late 1800s,
it has become
customary to view mathematical research as establishing truth by rigorous
deduction
from appropriately chosen axioms and definitions when those
